Questions

What counts as an event?

Each signal value you send to Datius is one event, whether it comes through the ingestion API, the Node.js SDK or OpenTelemetry. A batch of 100 values counts as 100 events.

What happens if we reach a limit?

Nothing you already have is removed. Creating more of that resource is blocked until you upgrade. Once the monthly event allowance is used up, new events are rejected until the next month starts or you move to a larger plan.

Can we change or cancel our plan?

Yes, any time from Manage billing. Upgrades take effect straight away and you pay the prorated difference. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

What happens to our data if we move to Community?

Community keeps 90 days of data, so telemetry older than 90 days is removed after the switch. Your signals, dashboards and settings stay.

How do we pay?

Payments are handled by Stripe. You can pay by card and with the other methods Stripe offers in your region, and download invoices from Manage billing.

Is there a free trial?

Community is free with no card required, so you can set up signals and dashboards and upgrade when you need more.
